Ideal applications for the EPT-90 XPE include automotive exhaust and structural parts, as well as aircraft tubes. EPT-90 XPE tub benders introduces a variety of innovations, including a heavy-duty servomotor to power the high-capacity bend arm. Built on a low profile base, the EPT-90 XPE enables simple operator loading and unloading, with a working height of just 1m (40"). Throughout, the extra performance EPT-90 XPE is designed for fast operation, quick changeover and superior reliability. For example, linear roller bearings with automatic lubrication are used on the pressure die, follower slide and centerline radius adjustment. A high performance rack and pinion servomotor-driven carriage offers exceptional accuracy and repeatability. Quick-change O.D. collets provide fast tooling changeovers. And, a new, high load bend arm assembly offers exceptional ruggedness for high torque applications.
