TOXIC GAS LEAK DETECTOR

A toxic gas leak detector is designed for industrial or building applications where hazardous gases are stored and leaks could cause great property and environmental damage. These systems are economical, rugged and easy to install and come with a large toxic gas leak detector variety suitable to most applications.


The VOC-3 toxic gas leak detector is designed for enclosed spaces or mechanical rooms where refrigerant leaks from chillers could pose a danger to personnel. This toxic gas leak detector can cover up to 10,000 sq. ft. of clear, open space. It is designed to operate two-speed fans using two dry contacts that close at the appropriate low and high concentration levels for the refrigerant gas being detected. Refrigerants detected include R-11, R-12, R-22, R-62, R-113, R-502 and R-134a. The toxic gas leak detector also includes visual indicators on the front of the unit for low and high level with an audible alarm at the high level. The VOC-3 toxic gas leak detector is constructed of heavy, damage-resistant PVC with vandal-proof screws. Units are available with integral standard or remote optional sensor heads. Typical installations include mechanical rooms and personnel lounges in industrial buildings.
Supply, install and connect the VOC-3 toxic gas leak detector at locations shown on drawings ACME VOC-3 Group A1 Ambient Refrigerant Detection and Control Units. The VOC-3 toxic gas leak detector units shall be fully electronic incorporating solid-state circuitry with built-in temperature compensation, factory calibrated at LOW and HIGH levels. Each toxic gas leak detector unit shall include visual indication. At HIGH operating level the toxic gas leak detector unit shall activate an integral audible alarm. The toxic gas leak detector unit enclosure shall be gasketed and made of corrosion resistant material.
