Unilock provides a lifetime guarantee on the structural integrity of Bus terminals around the globe have used paving stones as the pavement of choice. Their strength, durability, and resistance to petrochemicals and de-icing salts, are a testimonial unto itself. EcolocŪ goes the extra distance with drainage cavities, as well as the patented dual-axis system which can easily facilitate the pressures of repeated wheel turning and stopping. The jointing sand is broadcast uniformly over the entire surface of paving stones. This sand is then swept into the paver joints. The joints shall be filled with the sand. After filling the joints, the pavers are compacted using a plate compactor of sufficient size. This action will force the jointing sand into the joints and interlock the pavers. After compaction, the entire area shall be swept again to ensure that the joints are filled with sand. In all cases, a second pass with the compactor is recommended to assist in the penetration of joint sand well into the joints.
