CORN BURNING FURNACE

Thought corn was used only for feeding livestock or used for cooking? Think again! Corn has been increasingly used as an alternative energy method. Companies such as Pro-Fab industries are making their heating outdoor units to make them adaptable to many different types of products such as coal, wood and of course, corn. A corn burning furnace has many advantages over more traditional heating methods such as being more environmentally friendly and is also more cost efficient. See for yourself the benefits of a corn burning furnace by checking out the company's website at profab.org.

The EMPYRE is a non-pressurized system eliminating any danger of explosion. The EMPYRE heats the water surrounding the fire chamber. The water is thermostatically controlled by setting the aquastat temperature setting at the desired water temperature. Pumps then circulate the hot water from the corn burning furnace to the buildings, and back to the furnace to be reheated. You can use a 3/4" - 1 1/4" pipe between the corn burning furnace and the buildings

The Pelco corn burning furnace is designed as an open (non-pressurized) system reducing any pressurized risks. This eliminates the need for costly certified pressure boiler installers and annual licensing requirements. Insurance premiums may be lower due to the Pelco's open system design and the ability to be installed outside a building.
